Jerry Cirino
President & Chief Executive Officer
Jerry Cirino took the helm of Heartland Information Services, an innovative medical transcription company, in August 2007. Jerry is a health care technology executive with more than 25 years experience in growth, restructuring and turn-around environments. He has an outstanding track record in both private equity and large public company settings, with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, global operations and leveraged financing. Among his achievements in leading health care technology companies, Jerry directed all merger, integration and restructuring activities of Diagnostic Imaging, Inc. and Philips Health Care Products to form SourceOne Healthcare Technologies. Jerry is Chairman of the Board for Imaging Dynamics and a board member of Urologix, Inc., MSD Healthcare and Heartland Information Services. He is a graduate of the Corporate Board Effectiveness Program from Harvard Business School and holds an M.B.A., Doctor of Humane Letters (Honorary) and B.A. in Business Administration from Lake Erie College.

Brett Himes
Chief Financial Officer & Chief Operatiing Officer
Brett Himes is responsible for all financial functions of Heartland Information Services, provides critical day-to-day leadership for all aspects of global operations and is a primary contributor to the strategic planning and business development processes. Prior to joining the company in August 2007, Brett was EVP & CFO of SourceOne Healthcare Technologies, the largest medical imaging supplies distributor in the U.S. with over $1 billion in revenues. Brett spent seven additional years in the health care distribution industry with the Medical-Surgical and Pharmaceutical divisions of McKesson, where he served as Vice President of Finance for the Supply Management Business and then as Senior Vice President and CFO of the $3 billion Medical-Surgical Business. He also worked for Ernst & Young and was the founder of a multi-location document imaging service company. Brett holds an MBA from Harvard and is a CPA.

Dennis Paulik
Executive Vice President of Business Strategies
Dennis Paulik has played a major role in shaping the quality standards, customer relations and brand identity of Heartland Information Services. He joined Heartland in 2002 as Vice President of Sales & Marketing and was President and CEO of the Company from 2006 until transitioning into his current role in August 2007. In his current role, Dennis is responsible for national accounts, business development and brand optimization. Prior to joining Heartland, Mr. Paulik spent 24 years with the Proctor & Gamble Distributing Company (P&G) working largely in the health care commercial markets where his responsibilities included developing channel strategies, establishing/managing senior executive relationships with key customers and designing/implementing sales and marketing plans. Dennis is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.

Cathy Clemons, CMT
Executive Vice President of Global Operations
Cathy Clemons has extensive experience in the medical transcription industry, both in the U.S. and internationally. She joined Heartland Information Services as VP of Strategic Development in December 2001 and was promoted to her current role in 2007. Cathy’s prior noteworthy positions include: Regional Vice President of Operations with Lernout & Hauspie; Director of Transcription Operations with Dictaphone/Lernout & Hauspie; and Founder and President of Transcription Resources where she managed the operation for 10 years before selling it to another transcription service. Cathy is a Certified Medical Transcriptionist and Certified Medical Assistant and has served in leadership roles of various industry associations.

Ruth Brown
Vice President of Information Systems
Ruth Brown applies more than 20 years of Information Technology and business process experience to ongoing system development. Since joining Heartland Information Services in January 2001, she has successfully led teams in secure environments that have been on call by customers 24/7, with a focus on meeting system uptime requirements of 99.9%. Ruth’s commitment to serving Heartland’s organizational technology needs has resulted in keeping a broad range of customers satisfied. She attended the University of Phoenix.

Bill Horn
Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Bill Horn is a vital team member of Heartland Information Services, dedicated to maintaining customer satisfaction, attracting new customers and growing the Heartland business. He has a talent for developing relationships, defining strategies for technology and service solutions, and negotiating complex contracts. Bill originally joined Heartland in March 1999 as a Regional Account Executive serving the Western U.S. territory. In addition to his Heartland experience, Bill was a sales executive at Quadramed Corporation, a leading provider of health care technology and services. He also was a sales manager/account executive for Dictaphone Corporation, focusing on physician practices, medical clinics and imaging centers. Bill holds a B.A. in Business Economics from the University of Arizona.

Colleen Neidert
Vice President of Human Resources
Colleen Neidert has been instrumental in helping make Heartland Information Services a rewarding company to work for. Since joining as Human Resources Manager in July 2002, she has been a leader in developing a U.S.-based medical transcription and quality assurance workforce, as well as implementing several workforce reorganizations. Colleen also introduced new benefit plans and the HRIS payroll and timekeeping systems due to the sale of the company in November 2006. In early 2007, Colleen was promoted to Director of Human Resources and was recently named VP of Human Resources with responsibility for global human resources initiatives. Prior to her career in the human resource field, Colleen spent 24 years in the fields of strategic planning, marketing, management and sales. She is a graduate of Bowling Green State University.

Mahendra Singh Rawat
Senior Vice President of India Operations
Mahendra Singh Rawat leads the overseas transcription centers of Heartland Information Services. He joined Heartland in August 1998 and has helped build the company into a leading-edge, high-quality medical transcription provider servicing clients from state-of-the-art facilities in Bangalore, Chennai, Delhi, Mumbai and Pune, India. Mahendra has worked in the areas of training, production, quality and general administration within the organization and has developed a thorough understanding of all aspects of leading an overseas transcription production center. Prior to joining Heartland, Mahendra was working with GE Capital India. He holds a Masters degree in International Business and has also completed postgraduate work in Physics.
